Welcome to our Korean Ministries page!
ABOUT KOREAN MINISTRY AT ACA
Ten years ago DC & Uni Guimm came to the Auckland Christian Assembly for a specific reason. As new arrivals to New Zealand with the option of attending 35 plus existing Korean churches already within Auckland, DC & Uni decided, ‘when in Rome do as the Romans’ or in this case, when in New Zealand, be a Kiwi!.
They have come to the Auckland Christian Assembly with a specific desire to not only to be part of a great church, but to integrate with the people whose country they have now chosen to live in. There are now over 35 families within the Auckland Christian Assembly that make up a great ministry that is now an integral part of the Auckland Christian Assembly. The Korean ministries have their own small groups & home groups as well as normal church activity involvement. In our regular Sunday morning service, the sermon is interpreted into Korean and transmitted via a transmission unit whereby Korean members who have not quite mastered English, can listen to a translation on headphones during the service. English study notes are also supplied. A regular Tuesday morning bible study is run by Pastor Fred Needham. Although open to all, it is run at a slower pace in English specifically for Korean members.
There will soon hopefully be much more Korean content & links available within this website to assist Christian Assembly members who are now living back in Korea having formally been a part of the Christian Assemblies of New Zealand. Please visit our events page for Korean study group times & other information. Should you want to contact either DC Guimm or Pastor Fred Needham, please go to our contacts page and submit your contact details or queries.
